FAQ trane furnace
Trane furnace not functioning properly: UE100A960k0 / 13 yrs old.
Thermostat works as required, signal sent to furnace but unit does not ignite. Visual inspection of furnace with panel off-nothing visual-no loose connections. Where do I begin troubleshooting? |

Our XE80 is a joke. About 80 to 85% of the time the igniter won't come on, just the blower along with the 4 flashes indicating an open high limit device. Another 15% of the time it will ignite, but the blower won't come on. Once in a great, great while it will actually work, but just for one time...
I have trane gas Furnace and its stopped working the pilot is not working its keep shutting off and also the switch on and off is working but the pilot and burner is not working what should I do ?:(
I replaced the furnace filter, put the door back on etc and the furnace didn't kick in once I turned up the heat. The furnace worked just fine before? Is there a manual restart somewhere?
