    Won't get out of my life
    It’s been quite a few months since I have broken up with my girlfriend. Since then it seems I have been unable to get her out of my life.

    Most of my friends have girlfriends or wives and the girls all seem to keep in touch with her. And for the most part my friends do things as a couple so she is always being invited and she accepts. Also she is in constant contact with my family, at times more than I am. She talks about how much she misses my aunt and grandparents.

    I have told my family and tried to tell my friends but it doesn’t seem to work. I don’t know what else to do it feels like I can’t move on because she is always there. Any suggestions would work great.

    That is a really tough situation and you can't tell her to forget about her friends. If it bothers you that much, don't go out to anything when you know she will be there. Then, maybe after a while, when things aren't so awkward, you could start seeing your friends again. She also may realize that seeing you at these events is not going to get you back.

    Sometimes a break from the norm is what is needed to get you going in the direction you desire.
