    Heat pump fan has been running for an hour, the heat is not on or ac is this normal?
    My electrical heat pump fan has been running for an hour or two the heat is not on or the ac is this normal?

    Are you saying the blower/airhandler isn`t blowing in warm air?

    Are you saying the tstat is off but heat still working?

    Are you saying the hp is rinning but no heat in the house?

    Please we would like to help you but need better and more info, type of heat

    The conderser unit is running all the time? Condenser is outside right?if so you got a stuck contactor will have to have contacts in it replced or replace the whole thing.. contactor that is..

    Before you replace contactor,, trace the low voltage tstat wireing to make sure they are not shorted together in some way,, to do this you could disconnect the tstat wires from the contactor,, if unit then stops running you will know its in the wiring, if it keeps running you will know it's a stuck contactor
