    Fica Exemption Form
    Hi,

I am an international student since October of 2007 and just got my Associate's Degree. I applied for my OPT and I'll be starting my job on January 25, 2010. My International Student counselor told me I'm exempted from Social Security taxes and Medicare taxes, and I need to fill out a FICA form. I went to www.irs.gov but wasn't able to find the FICA exeption form... Can you help me with that? Is there any link I can go to download this form? Thank you in advance!

Go back to Internal Revenue Service and download IRS Pub 519 for 2008 (latest available edition).

The provisions for your exemption from FICA (Social Security and Medicare) taxes can be found on pages 50 - 51.
