Are you legally separated, with a legal paper registed with the court?

If not, while not likely, she can try, since you are legally married still

Depends on what state you reside in. I live in Ohio. I can tell you that in Ohio she can still attempt to take the vehicle since you are legally married. Worse case, she takes the vehicle and you are mandated to make the payments. It has happened but it depends on your divorce rules in your state. I would contact and attorney so you are protected through this. I purchased my vehicle while separated but got paperwork through my attorney and signed by her to release her rights to it. Basically like a contract.
