    Look on the back side of the blower access door for the answer to the number of blinks. Then post what it says back here to get your possible cure to the problem.

    My red light flashes four times and says on the back of the door that four flashes means open high limit device what do I need to do?

My xr80 furnace, when the fan is in the auto position, will not stay lit. it flames up for ten to fifty seconds but will not stay lit. when I turn the fan to the on position, it flames up and stays lit. I cleaned the furnace and filter. What could it be? What else can I do?

My Trane XR80 furnace is only blowing cold air. The diagnostic light is bllinking 6 times which, I think, means the 115 volt polarity is reversed. Is this something I can fix or do I need a repairman?
