    Lennox merit series furnace is making a loud noise
    Lennox merit series furnace is making a loud (knocking) noise. Please advise.

    Many times it is the blower making the noise. If your furnace has a blower on and auto switch set it to ON then turn the heat off. Your unit will then be just operating the blower and if the noise is from it you will know.
