Hi there

I read this book a really long time ago, maybe 10 years back.. now I "sort of" remember the story and the gist of it, but not the title of the book. I hope somebody here can help me figure it out.

It's about this guy, he's a middle-aged businessman or something. He goes into an antique shop one day and buys an old painting. The shopkeeper tells him that the painting is haunted or has a spell or whatever.. so the person who buys it/owns it will keep getting younger.

Well this guys gets it, he immediately notices things are changing in his appearance [grey hairs/ wrinkles vanishing etc].. This continues and he has the time of his life picking up women and reliving his youth once again.

The climax of the book was something like this.. he goes on a voyage of some kind. Well somebody knocks his door in the ship and leaves puzzled after finding a baby in the bed [its this guy, the painting still working on him] and sometime later he just disappears.. I mean his life gets reversed, so after becoming a baby he's not there anymore and the end [I think] focuses on the painting that is left to hang in the wall in the cabin :D

Does this book exist! I'm pretty sure I've read something like this and it was pretty popular too.

I thought Dorian Gray, too. But, it also sounds like the plot line of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Didn't see the ne movie, but that sounds like it.
