This message is for a percentage of persons asking questions about electrical on this site. Some of us are doing this for a living. Some of us work in a profession that nurtures change on a consistent basis. A profession that satisfies our everyday experiences--nourishing our minds with everyday knowledge. Some also mourn the lost of a co-worker, (one or more) who lost his or her life do to an electrical hazard. A lost that could have been prevented if--in some cases--a homeowner wouldn't have cut corners while installing backup power to his or her home (1 example). Electrical is serious business! If you feel like you aren't here to listen, and take what we do serious. Then you should “NEVER” think twice about doing your own electrical work. We are here to help each other as professionals, and to help those who seek to do small projects that they feel they can handle. The least you can do, is give us our respect! If you feel your knowledge surpasses our every day experience and education. Then maybe you should start earning your way into a team that respects and love the electrical trade, and what it offers.
