Running a drain from laundry tubs
I ran a drain pipe from the basement laundry tubs along the wall to the other side of the basement where the drain was. It worked fine. Last year we had an extension added to the house and in doing so wound up with pipe running through a doorway 1 foot off the floor. We now have to step over the pipe to go through the door. Would I be able to drop the pipe in a u bend at that point.

I would break up the cement and do it right but if you simply wish to get the pipe out of your way why not drop the drain at the tub and run it along the floor. Good luck, Tom
