    Tired of being harassed!
There is this young guy in my school who won't leave me alone. He is always trying to touch me innapropriatly, grabbing me, hitting on me, sometimes he even pushes me around. I have gone to higher authorities and he still follows me and will simply not leave me alone. In the hall way he stalks me with every chance he gets. His friends keep trying to get me to date him, I always so "NO!! I do not like him!". I have even told him to knock it off, I've been honest with him and said I do not like you in that way but he just smiles and keeps doing the same thing.

Not sure if just "asking you to go out" is anything but sad if they keep doing it, but the touching is most certainly wrong, contact the school resouse officer ( police officer) or have your parents call the police from home and file a report

I have talked to my parents about this. They told me to go to my teacher, so I did. She did the best she could and I got switched to the other side of the classroom. But he continued to do as he did before, only more aggressive

As mentioned, since this appears to be getting serious, talk to the police officer in your school (assuming your school has one). If your school doesn't have one, speak to the principal or associate principal. It is their obligation to do something about this. Harassment is taken more seriously now.

If these solutions do not resolve anything, you need to pair with your parents and the police department and file a report. Fr_Chuck can't be more correct on this. He's already shown signs of escalation.

I think that is the best next step too, and to answer the question my school has police officers. It's kind of sad that we have them though

Yeah, ignore him. Don't do anything to encourage his behavior. Unfortunately it seems at this point anything you could do might encourage him. You need to talk to the police. This is getting serious. Creepy is were it begins. Talk to your parents and get the police involved.

Sorry, I was not clear enough. I was just commenting on how he doesn't seem to be discouraged. You're not doing anything wrong.

O OK I gotcha now and it's fine. It's good to know that I'm doing nothing wrong. I'm just hoping that he at least gets discouraged when it comes to police.

Touching you and pushing you is wayyy over the line. This is battery. He has ignored your very reasonable and clear communications to leave you alone. I agree. Talk to the police.

I would consider his behavior threatening. Aside from your own safety, which is important, I would also like to see a young man like that (and his friends) get the message that his behavior is illegal and unacceptable.

I agree with that on the police and that he and his friends need to learn that is unacceptable behovior. People who see this go on in my class have advised me to slap him, other adults said I have a right to slap them even though the adults didn't take action in helping. I did not slap him,( in fact I honestly wouldn't even give him a hug!) I do not think it would solve anything if I slapped him because it would make him more aggressive towards me and possibly add to the problem.

Hey I just wanted to give you guys the heads up. The guy who was doing all those things is leaving me alone so far and I talked to my parents about it too, I'm guessing they probably took care of it.
