    Lennox air 10hpb48-0p
    This outside split unit has control wiring like telphone wires eaten through my mice or rats Does it get it signal from the inside unit or thermostat or must these wires be on to get anything. I get no clicking sound at my thermostat now to stay I'm due to turn on something so presume the power is outside at this fan unit ? The inside Unit gets wired to the termostat also ? 10hpb48-9p model. HELP !

    Splice the wires back together, red to red yellow to yellow green to green,Whatever they are,, wirenut tight and tape for insulation,check for blown fuse in furnace/airhandler,, goodluck

    Damage to the outdoor control wire shouldn't affect circuit between indoor unit and thermostat UNLESS the "R" & "C" circuits shorted together, burning a low-voltage fuse or the transformer at the indoor unit. You may consider replacing the outdoor control wire & running it through flexible liquid-tight conduit.
