    My carrier crusader furnace doesn't ignite
    My Carrier Crusader Model- 58SSC090-JC stopped heating yesterday. I have the thermostat on 74, but the house tempereature is 62. I cleaned the flame sensor with sandpaper and now when I turn it on, the blower blows and I hear a click like an ignition, but no flame. After about a minute, the funace just stops!

    Look at the ignitor for cracks etc. The ignitor might not be working to allow the gas to ignite.

I own a carrier furnace Infinity installed in 1994 model p21559 B.V. the ignitor does not ignite and the blower does not blow. The thermostat reads hold -AC .This furnace has been a problem since it has been installed.
