Should I contact her!
I am on classmates and I requested to be friends with someone I have not seen in since high school. She accepted my friend request.We weren't really friends at the time.My question should I email her? I am not sure If I should. I have not seen this person in 12 years.

I think you should contact her if you really want to. If you contact her and she does not reply then just say "oh well at least i tried". If she does then that's great keep talking and maybe you'll build a friendship.

First accepting a "friend" does not mean you are really real life friends but merely agree to keep in contact on the internet community.
But it is a email, we are not talking going out for coffee,

I agree with everybody. Go for it. Take the next step, send an email, and catch up a bit. I would imagine that after 12 years, you'll have a lot of email flying back and forth.
If all that comes of it is a couple of good laughs and a few email, why not.

Of course you should email her, why accept her friends request if your not going to at least try to be friends?
