    Space heater on carpet/fire paranoia
:eek:Is it ok to put an electric room heater on carpeted floors. It doesnt say anything against it in the manual but I am super paranoid about fire and just need to be sure. Thanks!

Maybe you could make a little stand for it with some cinder blocks or something to get it up off the floor away from the carpet... as long as there isn't a danger of it being knocked over by a child or pet, it might give you a little peace of mind.
There is usually a warning on them to keep a certain distance from furniture and fabrics... so your concern makes sense to me.
