    Water damage to my property
My Neighbour has had her garden turned into a scree garden, and my property in on a slope from her garden. When it rains, the water from her garden soaks down into mine, and I now have a water logged lawn, soaking wet and lots of moss. I have had to have my garden re turfed twice, and I am back to the same problem. What can I do?

Is there a fix you know that she can do? You can ask her to fix it.

If she doesn't, then it becomes a Civil lawsuit and you would have to give her written notice about the problem.

I have a water issue with a neighbor's landlord as well when he re-landscaped. I have asked him to fix and he said no.
The County said, you have to bring a Civil case against him with prior certified/registered mail notification of the problem in writing.

It would not hurt to take pictures of the problem for it's really your only documentation.

Your other choices may include installing a French drain near the property line to redirect the water. Where to redirect may be a problem since you can't pass the excess water onto someone else's property giving them your old problem.
