Gurgling pipes when washer drains into sump pump in basement
When the washing machine emptys into the sump pump, the drain in our kitchen (upstairs) gurgles. It is very loud and disruptive. What is causing it and how do we fix it? There is no water backing up into sink or foul odor.

I've been looking for an answer to this question, and this site looks where I would find the answer. Whenever anything is drained (mainly toilets flushes, etc.) the pipes gurgle, mostly the sink.
