    Can you turn the flame down on the furnace
    I have a gas furnace in the floor, but this year it seems the flame is blowing pass the iron crate

    Where do you live? Shut the gas off before you answer this post.

    Do you have a crack in the heat chamber? The flame should not be exposed to the metal floor grate.
