    kitchen lighting plan
I plan to put two 6" recessed cans over my workspace and four 50w halogen track lights angled toward my sink. The workspace is opposite the sink in my small 6ft x 12ft galley style kitchen with low ceilings. I do not plan for under cabinet lights. Will this be enough light and will it be placed well?

I would say a confident "it depends". If the light shines where you need it and the fixtures will handle lamps that put out enough lumens, you're OK. Beam spread, wall surface color and reflectivity, work demands, ceiling height... Much to take into account which we can't see through a keyboard. Maybe posting some pictures would help.
