    Kitchen lighting
    I have a light and my kitchen ceiling that are like long narrow lights you would see in a school how would I tell if one of the bulbs are blown.an if one is blown they all go out.also in my kitchen the light just quit working all a sudden under my ceiling fan.wat could be the problem.thanks for any help.

    Sounds like fluorescent lights. If one bulb is bad, sometimes the other bulb in the fixture will not light. Check for black ends on the tube. That is a good sign of a blown tube. Replace with the exact same type of tube (very important) and if that doesn't work call an electrician. As to the light under the ceiling fan, if it doesn't light it is probably blown. Replace it and see.
