    What information can landlords give
My lease is up in 30 days and I am in the process of looking at other rental properties. What information are landlords allowed to give potential landlords who is seeking information?

Are you a good tenant ? I think that's the criteria, but the times I have rented, no one has ever check personal references, just financial references. As long as you pay your rent on time, keep the place tidy and undamaged, then you have no worries. Right ? If you want to protect your interests, and prove you left he place clean and undamaged, take pictures of all rooms before you leave.

First you need to read your lease. Many leases have an automatic renewal clause. If you do not give notice of your intent not to renew within a specified time (often 60 days) then the lease automatically renews.
Don't assume that, if the lease is set to expire 12/30, that it ends on that date.

As to what the landlord can say, he can say anything that is truthful and applicable to a potential landlord.

    What is your concern here?

    If you paid on time,
How many times you were late.
If during any inspections there were damage
Even if there were police reports or complaints

Of course it all has to be true.
