    92 civic won't start
Ok to begin 1992 honda civic 1.5 non v-tech automatic lx 4 door had valve rattle on take off and axles where cliking so I parked car in driveway last week replaced axels, adjusted valve lash to spechs changed oil, filter, fuel filter, air filter jumped in for test drive car wouldn't start.. no check engine light (comes on for 2 sec and goes out) can here fuel pump it runs for 3-4 secs cuts off doesn't sound like its "tightening up thow" so I figure it ran 2 hrs ago I must have did sothing I inspect all conections and don't see anythig wrong gas is low thow so I go get 5 gallons of gas and dump in, try again... nothing I check spark ,got spark I take of fuel filter hose take a bath in gas so I got pressure I check to make sure I re enstaled cap corectly ( I looked at button when adjusting lash to ensure tdc) I then notice that when "up" is pointing up on the cam gear that number one is pointing at number 4?? OK what da f... so I check timing marks on crank pullies its cool but "up" faces down when pointed at num 1... ok... so I pull plugs (maybe I got firing out of wack, I check firing order by compresion get compresion fire right? Suck, squeze, bang, blow! Right? Best I can figure someone put dist. in upside downand wired it to work... well then I notice timing belt is new.. if distributer is in upside down it leaks oil right? Any way I try to turn it over cause I won't my stuff right.. won t go. Is it possible they put cam gear on up side down?. what ever car was running 4 hrs ago, so I reasemble by now I've killed batery so I use jumper pack using a volt meter I discover that I have no cotinuity between primary and secondary on coil so I replace coil and spark plugs.nothing I make sure fuel lines are clear and meke sure injectirs have power. Were good... I spray starting fluid in and get short breiff detination. OK I jump conector to see if I got code no code eng light just stays on. Un jump, light goes back to proper function. I remove feul pump check to make sure lines are clear and sock is free of crap... were good.. car won't start... fuel will shoot all over when I inproberly remove lines, but like I said it doesn't sound like it tightens up. I have to purchace a new pressure gauge tomorrow do to mine growing legs.. Is there any thing else I can check? Will fuel pressure regulater quit and not sustain pressure or is it more likely fuel pump is just week all my relays clik so map is cool right? Am I working in circles, or is it so simple my big brain just can't find it?
