Hello I am Shelbie, What rights does a young teen father to his new born baby if the mom don't want the baby?

The same rights as if she does. He can file for visitation, custody or sole custody. He can allow or disallow an adoption.

What does the mom want to do? He has no rights if she wants an abortion, by the way.

If a mother don't want to keep a new born baby (parents not married) and the dad wants to have the baby, can a mother keep the baby away from the dad? ( no danger for the dad) She don't want to let the dad have the baby, wants to give it to a family member.

Sorry, but the father has a right to decide who the baby can go to. If he wants it and she doesn't guess where that baby goes. To the father.

I have to say here that if the child isn't born yet, he needs to get on the putative father listing in his state (if his state has one) and get a lawyer. If she decides that she REALLY wants to do an adoption, she'll lie about who the father is, and then he'd have to fight to have the adoption overturned. So often, that takes enough time that the adoptive parents and child have bonded--and a court may rule in favor of leaving the child where it is, as being in the best interest of the child.

Nine times out of ten, if the birthmother can't choose adoption over the father raising the child, she decides to parent after all.

The father needs to go to court right away and prevent the mother from performing a baby drop off. That way he can assert his rights as soon as the courts give them to him.

Its sad but under laws like these the fathers have almost no rights once the child is turned over.
