    Carrier 58PAV not cycling
Hello all, I purchased a home a few months ago with a Carrier 58PAV unit. The AC worked fine but I'm having a problem with the heating, it would not come on so I changed out the thermostat but quickly realized that was not the problem. If I turn on the thermostat and turn off the main switch on the heating unit and then turn it on the unit will run properly until it cycles again the unit will light and the burners will ignite but within a few sec. shut off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Bill -
Look at the control board in the furnace and see if the LED is blinking a code.
I've attached a drawing of the board to help you locate things.

    I hope this helps,

WallyH, thanks for the help and the diagram once the unit cycled and tried to restart the red light started flashing.

I founds the panel with the codes listed and it directed me to the Flame Sensor, I took it off and cleaned it with steel wool and all is well. Thank you Wally for a push in the right direction.
