    German Passport Eligability?
Hello, My question is concerning my eligability to receive a German passport. My Grandfather and Grandmother are both German citizens. My father moved to the United States in the 1960, married my mom, an American, in 1967 and became an American citizen in 1970. My brother was born in 1967 and I was born in 1974. Am I eligible for a German passport? Any help is appreciated.

Don't think so... Germany does not recognize dual citizenship. So when your grandparents and your father became naturalized, they must renounce German citizenship. Anyway, I recommend that you contact the nearest consulate, give them full details and ask this same question.
