Possibly you can if you deducted all the proper taxes and paid the proper taxes on your salary. Since the business is closing that would indicate that you are no longer self employed. I'd try. Nothing to lose and everything to gain.

    Hi, 121498!

What's an edd check, please? Once I know about that, I can move your question to a thread of its' own so that your thread will be your very own. This place isn't a chat room. New questions that aren't in any way an answer to the original post at the top of the page need to be asked by starting a new thread.

    Thanks!

If you have a separate question, please start a new thread. This place doesn't work the same way that a chat room does. New questions need to be asked by starting new threads, not by asking them on the threads of other people.

This thread is also old and archived.

The original poster has also never returned to respond on it.

The thread has been attracting piggybacked questions.

    This thread is now CLOSED.

    Thank you.
