Kenmore agitator does not agitate.
I have a Kenmore Elite Three speed automatic washer (bought in 2003). The agitator is supposed to provide rotational agitation and "continous rollover" from bottom to top. It does not seem to be agitating at all. When new, you could not physically prevent the agitator from rotating. Now you can stop it easily. Is there a belt or a clutch that needs to be replaced? Is this a difficult repair?

I have a Kenmore Elite washer. The agitator does not engage during the cycle. I can turn it clockwise during a wash cycle, so it is not jammed. I have no problems with spin. (yet). Any ideas would be appreciated. I read the notes from Applguy but I have no noises or no problems with spin so that...

Hi Everyone says the same thing... remove the cap remove the sofner dispensor(if there), and then... presto there is the bolt, remove the bolt and slide agitator up and off. My problem is the bolt just seems to spin and spin and spin, if I hold the agitator, the bolt never comes off it just...
