    Venting saniplus toilet
    Hi
House setting::side split, with kitchen sink and dishwasher on lower level above crawl space, and the bathroom on upper level.
I am installing a saniplus toilet [macerating pump unit] in the basement how high must the
Final connection for the vent be at on the stack. Would I have to go to attic then join the origianl stack? Or can I connect just below the sink in the vanity, do to the fact that those are the highest traps... just not sure because everything is still above the kitchen sinks by @4'... thanks

    Hi Anjimie:

You will want to connect your vents into one vent and then run that vent so it connects at least 6 inches above the flood level rim of the highest fixture being served by the pump... which should be the sink. In other words, connect your vent so it is a minimum of 42" or higher off the finish floor. The vent cannot connect under the sink(s).

There is a sink connecting into the saniplus... yes?

Let me know if you want to discuss how to vent all fixtures... O.K.?
