    125v neon pilot light resistance
    Greetings;
    I have a 125v neon pilot light which is very bright and I would like to dim it by 50 - 75%. How would I figure the correct resistor or are there any suggestions as to the correct way of dimming it?
    Thanks

    Usually the maufacturer give a reccomened resistance. If it's 1 120 V lamp, I'd start at 100K. 47-100K is common.
