Is is possibly for somebody to be running something through the vent pipes that would be making me sick?? How is the vent pipes set up in an apartment building? :)

    Thanks for your help!

I feel sick sometimes and live in an apartment complex and wanted to know if somebody could be putting something down in the drains would that come up into other drains in all the other apartments? Also I noticed that in an empty apartment I could see where the drain has turned blue what would cause this?

    Thank you,

Not likley! Your roof vents connect directly with the sewer system and you're protected and isolated from the sewer system by the fixture traps so if some one interjected something in a roof vent it would go directly intro the sewer system.
Having said that it's still possible to get sewer gasses from other sources if sewer gas is your concern. Would you care to share your concerns with mne? Give me the details and we'll look into it together. Regards, Tom
