Well all you can do is support your boyfriend in the decision that he has to make. He can choose to allow the adoption or can choose to go to court to tell the judge he wants to keep his rights. But I have to say that in my state someone with that type of record (in jail for a long period and never having gone to court to get visitation) does not bode well and the judge may rule in the mothers favor anyway. I have seen it happen so it's his choice all you can do is have his back.

The courts will always do what is in best interest of the children. Just stay focused on that and you will find your answer.
Does your boyfriend want to have contact with his kids? If yes then you are going to have long expensive fight -
It sounds like to me that if the kids are that old then and only saw them once he doesn't want to be part of their life anyway. Sorry to say that but if I could not be with my kids I would have found any possible way to see them.

Yes.im going to stay by his side.thank u!well, just hope evything wld going to be all right.thank you so much.(stinawords)
.. perdomo, thank you for the answer but I just want something clear... well,as for my boyfriend wanting to have a contact with the kids yes!just that, the exwife don't let the kids see their dad.he could've write a letter, but he don't know the new address.basically, the exwife, don't let the kids to still have communication with the father.and as for the kids seeing him, well, they (kids) could've see him once a week,if the mother would let them, but she controls them, either.so,the exwife, has had kind of taken the kids away from the father.and I'm sure,if he wasn't in jail,he'll find a way to see the kids too.

That's no one's fault but his own. If he really wants to see his kids, he needs to stop depending on what their mother wants and have his rights enforced.
And if its been 13 years and he has only seen the kids once, I am calling BS. He has no interest in being part of their lives.
