    Gas Maytag Stove
Hello to all, and thanks for taking your personal time to help me and others.

My name is Evelio, and I have a Maytag gas stove.

Everything works good except the oven, it just stopped igniting and therefore I have no way of starting the pilot light.

I have learned that my gas stove does not have a pilot light that needs to burn 24/7 in order to start the heat.

I have some sort of igniter switch that turns on the flame when needed.

I don't know what to do, or which is the problem? Is it the igniter in the oven or the dial to set the temperature?

Please indicate because I am very cautious of working with a gas stove.

    Thanks to all
    Evelio
