    Gas stove
    I need someone to check the gas stove hookup at my rental house. Whom do I call? A plumber or an electrician?:(

    If you are worried about a gas leak call the gas company and if they red tag it then your landlord has to get you another one --unless it is your own stove.

    Any appliance repair company can check it for you.

    In some areas, the gas company will do a courtesy check for free.

    Might be worth a try.
