Hair roots won't lift fom yellow
    Hello

I have shoulder length hair and have very light as ends done by sun & colour. My root colour is dark. I have tried to get the roots to the same colour as the ends but won't lift enough to match the ends they remain yellow. Tried purple shampoo to tone it down a bit but no luck. Can you give me some advice on what to try next.. Regards:

BEFORE the hair turns yellow, you should be using a toner. I know there's one called blue. If this doesn't work, perhaps you need to die over them

Hi, I normally have my hair high-lighted---for years. I asked my stylist today to color my roots to give me a "boost" for the summer (instead of high lighting with foils).
