    Kenmore washer spin cycle nets grinding noise
    My 4-year old Kenmore direct-drive washer was starting to show weak agitation. Now, instead of having the tub spin, there is just a grinding noise. I guess the transmission is out. This model has a 5-year warranty on the drive line, but no labor. If it is the transmission, is it worth it to get it fixed?

    I hate to say this but the labor charge might be expensive. I would call around and get a labor only price for the work and then decide.

    I have a washer #110.20842990 Kenmore. The tub fills and drains but does not spin. What part of the transmission would cause this
