Installed new evaporator fan motor and relayoverload & frig still working properly.
We have a Maytag Plus Refrigerator MTB1956GEW.

We replaced the relay overload and then realized that the evaporated fan motor was not working. So we ordered that part and replaced. The fan began to work immediately;however it is now not working. Therefore, the refigerator is not being cooled.

    What else should I check?

In order for the fan to work a call for cooling must exist. If you can try jumping the thermostat control out and see if the unit comes on. Also try turning the defrost timmer around just in case it is stuck on defrost instead of run.

NOTE if you have the adaptive defrost system as seen (ON CERTAIN MODELS) diagram supliment then you cannot turn the defrost timmer since there is not one in your system. In The Adaptive defrost units it is done by run time with electronic components. Servicing newer Ice Boxes has become a real pain.
