    I installed a new waterheater and its not working properly what could it be
    It gets hot but don't stay hot very long

    Is it an electric or gas heater?

    You said " i installed a new waterheater ".

    Does that mean you did it yourself, if so, did you do any soldering near the fitting that screws into the water heater?
