    Getting rights back
    My name is carol I'm trying to find out how I can help my husband on trying to get his felony record wiped out its been 18 years and he has not got in to any trouble since then and we would like to find out what we need to do to go about getting his rights back thank you

    What rights do you think hubby doesn't have? Many states let felons vote after completion of their sentence. If that's the right you're talking about, it depends on your state. Check with your Secretary of State.

    The only other right he doesn't have is gun ownership, and he's not going to get that back unless he gets a full pardon. If a pardon is what he wants, he's going to need a lawyer to get it.

    Other than that, there are no other rights to recover.
