    Quiet title action
How long should it take a law firm to complete a quiet title action if no complications come up, on a residential house that was bought at a county tax deed sale? Thanks for your respons.

I would define "no complications", as all named defendants are immediately served with process; fail to answer or defend; and therefore are defaulted. In that case, a month or so, depending on the time given in your jurisdiction's civil rules to file an answer. It might take more if it was necessary to serve one or more defendants by publication. It is also possilble that the judge might not be totally prompt in signing the judgment, but I wouldn't expect it to be much more than that.

Have you instituted such an action or are you contemplating one?
