    Compatible compressor and evap coil
    Working on a goodman outdoor unit ,model#crt18-1
    I have an air handler not sure what brand model#FFIDNE024(think it is a janitrol)

    Are the evap coil and condensing unit compatible?

    From the numbers it looks like you have a 18,000 outdoor unit and a 24,000 indoor unit. Since the inside has a larger capacity than the outdoor the units will work together BUT You will have to use the metering device/piston for the outdoor unit size since the outdoor unit size controls the system size so to speak. Actually you would be better off using a expansion valve but that is another story.

    A good contractor will be able to set the correct system charge after all the appropriate refrigeration steps are taken for the professional install.
