    Unbalanced Heat/Cool
    Hello,

I have a ranch home with two bedrooms and one bath over a crawl space.

The other rooms are over a basement.

These two rooms over the crawl space do not heat or cool to the same degree
as the rest of the house, lower air volume.

I have a gas forced air unit with one zone.

The duct work through the crawl space is flex insulated piping, with 4x10 vents.

I think the pipe is 6", but not sure, yet.

I'm wondering if simply increasing the duct work to the next size would increase
the air enough to solve my problem????

I have read a little about "Zoning". I've seen motorized valves and also rubber
    type, any suggestions, please

    Thank you

What you really need to do or have done is a manual D on your home. This will take the guess work out of the equation since guess work by the original contractor got you into the problem to start with.

Heat Pump runs but doesn't heat or cool. [ 4 Answers ]

I know this is pretty basic--but my older Rheem Classic IX (in FL) seems to be operating fine--except it stopped heating and I think, cooling.
