How do you get escutcheons off the faucet stem?
I am replacing an acrylic tub & surround... I have a 3 handled faucet shower system, I have turned the main water off, I have removed the handles and I have a stem wrench ready to remove the stems to take to the store for replacement, but the escutcheons (and the stems) just spin in place. Any suggestions on how to get them off?
