    Ceiling fan lights malfunction
I have a two combination ceiling fans and lights which are on a switch but is controlled by either of 2 remote controls, one mounted at an interior door and one mounted at an exterior door. It was installed one year ago by a licensed electrician. Everything worked fine until just recently. The fans still work properly but the lights are burning at about half the wattage. There is a remote unit installed with each fan and are programmed the same. I have changed the batteries and that didn't seem to be the problem. The on/off buttons work fine and the speed buttons for the fans also work fine. Any ideas?

Is there a 'dim' button? If not, try holding down the light button.
