    Kenmore washer switch lid repair details
    How do you install the switch lid to the kenmore washer,what tools are needed and where is everything located? I need to replace the part that when you close the lid,the washer starts,the little button in the little hole on the lid area

    You will need to remove the top or at least lift it up. Generally the top of a washer is held in place at the front edge by spring clamps.
    Gently pry between the top and the front of the washer. Be careful to not chip the enamel. Once the top is removed or lifted, you should have access the switch.

    Watch what you are doing. Every time you think you have something figured out, they change the way things are done.
