    Fan Switch
I have a 9 year old hunter fan. It came with a two wire wall switch which has an on/off button and light and fan control button. All you have to do is to press the light or fan button to change the brightness or speed. It does not function anymore and I try to get a replacement but they all have three wires to connect to the wall. Does it mean that one of the wires have to be connected to the ground wire?
    Thanks for your assistance.
