    Belt replacement on Craftsman LT4000
    After cutting the grass yesterday the belt came off the lower deck, there are three pully's on the lower deck but I am not sure how the belt goes bck on. Can someone send me a picture of how it goes back on or what needs to be done?

    Craftsman puts a diagram of the belts on the deck, look closely. If you can give me a model number I can help get a downloadable manual with diagrams. Here is a manual from another Craftsman, check page 24 http://www.managemyhome.com/mmh/lis_...M/98070415.pdf

Can you explain why my Craftsman 12.5 hp model #917255581 shuts off when I engage the blades? Engine runs fine, plenty of oil, blades aren't restricted, belts appear functional, but when the blades are engaged even slightly the engine shuts off. Is there a safety switch?
