    Cheap divorce
I have been told by many people that I can divorce my husband while he is in jail and it will only cost me a dollar, is that true? If so where can I find the information that I am looking for?

I think you were told wrongly. It costs what it costs. You might be able to avert filing fees based on your income but somewhere its going to cost you something.

Yeah there really isn't a 'cheap' divorce. You pay the filing fees that there are. And they don't change no matter who you go through. Then you will have lawyer fees. You can file the papers yourself, (which I don't recomend) but you will still be responsible for the state filing fee.

What state are you in and I can find the fee for you?
