    Why do you want to adjust the pilot? The majority of the time it will never need readjusted. If the pilot is suddenly weeak the pilot assembly and orice in it need cleaned. There are two adjustments on the gas valve, one is the output gas pressure, the other is the pilot adjust. The pilot adust is covered by a screw about 1/2" long and requires a narrow standard screwdriver to adjust, don't adjust the wrong one. The pressure regulator srew is much wider.
