    Code 9 honda civic 91 vtech
    Hey how do I get code 9 to stop check eng is now on. This happened after replacing speedometer cord

    First try resetting the ECM--pull the Backup Fuse in the under hood fuse box, or disconnect the negative. Battery cable, for 10 seconds. If the CEL comes back on, you will likely need to install a new distributor housing, since the CYL Sensor is not serviceable. I only recommend genuine Honda distributor housings, due to problems with many aftermarket distributors for Hondas.
