Relationship with brother in law and my husband.
My husband hates my brother in law so he never speak with him and never allow me to speak. But I need to maintain my relationship with my sister. I told him I will visit their house and stay for 3 days. I never comple him to come with me . But he is not allowing me to go.. I love my sister very much. Please suggest me what I should do? Whether to go, or not to go?

Even though you're married, he's not the boss of you. You might want to re-evaluate your marriage and ask yourself is your marriage worth ruining a relationship with your sister. Put it in this perspective. You have two friends, Mary and Jane. Jane and Mary argue and are no longer friends. They cannot expect you to not be friends with the other. That's their problem and they need to work through it themselves. |

Your husband is being selfish and controlling and putting you in the middle of his fights. You need to figure out what the consequences of your going would be and is it worth it when you get back. Ask him what is he going to do about it if you do go but don't ask in a confrontational way. Tell him you need to sit down and talk it over with him. |
